Lifecycle Marketing Lead

We are looking for a lifecycle marketing lead to join our Growth Marketing team.  In this role you’ll be responsible for leading our lifecycle marketing efforts driving customer acquisition, activation, engagement and retention.  You will be responsible for the lifecycle strategy across the entire customer journey, which you will then optimize through continual analysis and rapid experimentation.  

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end customer journey strategy and craft comprehensive plans to engage with customers at every stage
  • Identify predictive product usage indicators and build engagement workflows to drive activation and multi-product adoption
  • Accelerate customer acquisition through personalized campaigns in close partnership with our demand gen team
  • Build an integrated customer onboarding program that includes triggered lifecycle marketing initiatives (i.e.- triggered email program, notifications, in-product messaging)
  • Propose, design and launch A/B tests that drive engagement, conversion and retention
  • Collaborate effectively across design, account management, product marketing and content teams to create a cohesive customer experience
  • Develop reporting to track key metrics related to retention and illustrate the impact of growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience developing end-to-end lifecycle campaigns, from conceptualization to measurement
  • General understanding of SaaS economics such as LTV, CAC, payback period, etc.
  • Experience driving large impact through scaled/automated personalization capabilities
  • Highly analytical – comfortable working with data, evaluating ROI, reviewing dashboards, clearly scoping data asks to technical counterparts, etc. 
  • Thoughtful strategic thinker with a bias for action and a creative mind; comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with a high degree of ambiguity
  • Mastery of email and marketing automation tools and best practices, Salesforce and Marketo experience a plus
  • Proven experience leading a team as a people manager

Target base salary for this role is $139,320 and $227,880 per year. Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location.
