The Web Platform team builds and maintains Plaid’s public-facing web experiences, which serve as the front door for millions of users and thousands of customers. We collaborate across design, engineering, marketing, and product to make plaid.com an engaging, high-performing platform that communicates Plaid’s story, showcases our products, and drives growth.

As our Web Experience Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering features and improvements that expand Plaid’s top-of-funnel impact. You’ll partner with design, engineering, and marketing to launch high-quality site experiences, scale our web platform, and run data-driven experiments that optimize conversion and customer engagement. This role is ideal for a product manager who is detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated to create customer-first digital experiences that support business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Product Development & Execution. Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing partners to deliver high-quality web experiences and improvements. Contribute to roadmap planning and ensure execution against business goals.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset. Use customer research, data, and experimentation to inform improvements. Define success metrics, track product performance, and iterate to optimize customer experiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration. Partner across disciplines to deliver cohesive web initiatives. Ensure clarity, alignment, and smooth execution for stakeholders.
  • Data-Driven Optimization. Run A/B tests, analyze user behavior, and refine the conversion funnel to improve measurable outcomes.
  • Ownership & Craft. Take responsibility for outcomes within your scope, pay attention to detail, and continuously push for higher quality in execution.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of product management or equivalent experience, ideally working on web-based products or digital experiences.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (front-end or back-end) and APIs.
  • Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience defining metrics and running experiments.
  • Customer-obsessed and detail-oriented, with a track record of delivering features that improve engagement, conversion, or retention.
  • Strong collaborator who thrives in cross-functional environments and communicates effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
$163,200.00 - $223,200.00 per year

The target base salary for this position ranges from $163,200/year to $223,200/year in Zone 1. The target base salary will vary based on the job's location. 

Our geographic zones are as follows:
Zone 1 - New York City and San Francisco Bay Area 
Zone 2 - Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington D.C.
Zone 3 - Austin, Boston, Denver, Houston, Portland, Sacramento, San Diego
Zone 4 - Raleigh-Durham and all other US cities

Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location.
