Newsletter - February 2021
Jenny Chiu
In this month's newsletter, we're excited to announce our first Community Town Hall of 2021 where you'll hear from Plaid leaders including Zach Perret, Jean-Denis Greze, and Ginger Baker about what's top of mind for Plaid. Below, read about our latest product enhancements, upcoming events, and more.
Product highlights
A simple way for people to change the destination of their direct deposits: Plaid’s new Deposit Switch product, which is in beta, makes it easy for your users to switch their direct deposits to your app. Users can simply link their payroll account via Plaid Link and Plaid automatically updates their payroll settings within seconds.
Update your Link integration to Link tokens: Link tokens are a new and recommended way of integrating with Link that we announced last July. This more secure integration uses a one-time token in place of the public_key, and will be the preferred method of building with Plaid going forward.
Looking for our Changelog? You can find it in our docs.
