Product highlights
Now Available: The updated Account Select pane for Link
The updated Account Select pane is now available, providing users with even more transparency and control over the accounts they share with you and Plaid. To learn more about implementing this updated pane, see our migration guide.
Plaid + Fannie Mae: Positive Rent Payment History
Plaid’s Asset Reports can now be used as part of Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter to identify rent payment history. To do this, use the /asset_report/create endpoint and set the number of days_requested to a minimum of 366.
Insights into your users’ recurring transactions
Get more insights into your users’ spending behavior with our new Recurring Transactions endpoint. The endpoint will be available to select Transactions customers for beta testing this quarter. If you’re interested in the beta, please reach out to transactions-feedback@plaid.com with a short description of your use case to see if you qualify.
Coming soon: A universal Connected pane for Link
In response to customer feedback, the Connected pane will appear universally at the end of the Plaid Link flow starting on November 1. This update helps ensure a consistent and even more transparent user experience. If you have created your own Connected pane, we recommend deprecating it on or before November 1.
Coming soon: An automatic update to the Consent pane for Link
As a reminder, an automatic migration to the Plaid-branded Consent pane will take effect on November 15. To preview this update or to opt-in early, see our API docs.
Onboard onto bank APIs faster with the dashboard-based security questionnaire
In order to build a safer ecosystem, we ask all customers to disclose their privacy and security practices when onboarding onto bank APIs and OAuth. Now, you can access, complete, and update this questionnaire from within the Plaid Dashboard to gain access to bank APIs faster. Note, if you’ve already completed the questionnaire before, there is no need to submit it again.
