In this month's newsletter, read about our latest tools, upcoming virtual events (including a women in fintech roundtable), and the work Plaid is doing to encourage the future of data access.
Product highlights
Better visibility into institution health and more connections for our Investments product: Institution status for investment accounts is now available in the Dashboard, based on extraction data taken after the most recent market close. New integrations for Tangerine, Fidelity, E*Trade, Netxivestor, Chase, and US Bank are also now available.
Help solve user issues with our new Item Debugger and improvements to Institution Status: We’ve introduced the new Item Debugger in the Dashboard to give you a comprehensive view of Plaid Items in one place, and released new improvements to Institution Status.
Get started in 40+ languages with our Open API spec and client libraries: We’ve released an OpenAPI file so that you can auto-generate your own client libraries in your preferred programming language.
Improvements to institution search messaging in Plaid Link: Anytime a user searches for a financial institution that’s incompatible with your app (based on the products you use and your account subtype filter configurations), that financial institution will be grayed out. Additionally, a message will appear explaining why the institution can’t be selected and encourage the user to make a different selection.
Looking for our Changelog? You can find it in our docs.
