As an Executive Assistant at Plaid, you will serve as a strategic partner to the CTO and Head of Product Engineering while managing our EPDD Executive Assistant team. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving cross-functional projects, and mentoring a team of EAs to act as force multipliers for their respective leaders. Responsibilities
- Executive Partnership: Provide sophisticated administrative and strategic support to the CTO and Head of Product Engineering.
- Strategic Alignment: Act as a bridge between the Office of the CTO and the broader EPDD leadership team to ensure organizational goals are reflected in leadership's time allocation.
- Project Governance: Lead cross-functional initiatives and specialized projects that impact the entire EPDD organization.
- Communication Architecture: Draft and manage high-stakes internal communications and "All Hands" content, ensuring tone and messaging are aligned with Plaid’s culture.
- Budget & Resource Planning: Oversee the EPDD administrative budget, vendor relationships, and large-scale resource allocation for team connection and events.
- Team Leadership: Directly manage, mentor, and develop the EPDD EA team, establishing performance standards and career development paths.
Requirements
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in administrative or project support, with at least 3+ years specifically in a people management or team mentorship capacity.
- Leadership Presence: Proven ability to manage "up and across," influencing C-suite executives and cross-functional partners with composure and discretion.
- Strategic Mindset: A track record of moving beyond tactical execution to solve systemic organizational challenges.
- Technical Literacy: Comfort working within a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment; familiarity with the rhythms of Engineering and Product teams is a plus.
- Emotional Intelligence: Exceptional EQ and communication skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage sensitive personnel or organizational matters
The target base salary for this position ranges from $144,000/year to $183,600/year in San Francisco.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission, equity and benefits. The pay range shown on each job posting is the minimum and maximum target for new-hire salaries. Actual pay may be higher or lower depending on factors like skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
