Welcome to the Plaid Changelog! Our Changelogs are a series of posts dedicated to highlighting the new products, features, and upgrades we launch each month.

Banks

At the start of this year, we committed to providing the best possible bank coverage in terms of quality, availability, and breadth. We’re excited to share the progress we’ve made towards that goal to date.

In June, we added Auth and Identity support for several large institutions including Santander, Golden 1 Credit Union, and Commerce Bank. As of this post, we support Auth for over 1,500 institutions and Identity for more than 300 institutions.

Link

We’ve added a new exit status to Link for when your user exits the Link flow after unsuccessfully searching for an institution. This should make it easier to seamlessly transition your user from Link back to your app or an alternative flow.

Dashboard

We released two-factor authentication for the Dashboard, adding an extra layer of security to ensure your account is protected even if your password is compromised. Dashboard users can enable two-factor authentication for use with SMS or authentication apps such as Google Authenticator or Authy.

Support

Over the coming months we’ll be working on improving our support experience to help us provide you with faster and more helpful responses. This month, we started iterating on our categories in the Support Center, laying the groundwork to more quickly and efficiently address underlying issues.
