We believe that the way people interact with their finances will drastically improve in the next few years. We’re dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and experiences that thousands of developers use to create their own products. Plaid powers the tools millions of people rely on to live a healthier financial life. We work with thousands of companies like Venmo, SoFi, several of the Fortune 500, and many of the largest banks to make it easy for people to connect their financial accounts to the apps and services they want to use. Plaid’s network covers 12,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Washington D.C., London and Amsterdam.

Plaid's Recruiting Operations team exists to build and sustain the infrastructure, programs, and data that enable our recruiting organization to hire effectively, efficiently, and equitably. We drive operational strategy, systems implementation, data integrity, and process consistency across the full hiring lifecycle. In 2026, we are focused on scaling our coordination function, fully operationalizing Ashby as our ATS, and launching programs that raise the bar for recruiting effectiveness across Plaid. We are a lean, high-impact team, and we are growing.

As the Recruiting Operations Coordinator at Plaid, you will sit at the intersection of recruiting coordination and operational program support. You will own white-glove scheduling for high-touch hiring pipelines, serve as the on-site RC presence in our San Francisco office, and act as a core member of the Recruiting Operations team -- contributing to the systems, tools, and processes that keep the function running. This is an entry-level program management role that flexes between recruiting coordination and operational program support -- the balance will shift based on hiring volume and team needs. You will be one of the first permanent, full-time RCs at Plaid, serve as the function lead for Recruiting Coordination, and report into the Head of Recruiting Operations.

Recruiting Coordination:

  • Own end-to-end scheduling for high-touch, high-visibility pipelines

  • Serve as the on-site RC presence in the SF office, welcoming and escorting candidates, managing day-of logistics, and delivering a seamless interview experience

  • Serve as the function lead for Recruiting Coordination, acting as the first line of contact for escalated scheduling questions, candidate issues, and process gaps across the RC team

  • Flex into broader scheduling support during peak hiring periods, including university recruiting season

Recruiting Operations:

  • Monitor and triage RecOps Slack channels, ensuring timely responses to recruiter and hiring manager requests

  • Administer Plaid's Linear account across the recruiting and operations teams, supporting project management and tooling tracking including the RecOps backlog, feature requests, and open vendor items

  • Support RecOps leadership with project management basics: tracking milestones, documenting action items, and moving initiatives forward

  • Contribute to process documentation, system maintenance, and ad hoc tooling tasks

Must-haves:

  • 4+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, with a track record in high-volume or high-touch scheduling environments

  • Proficiency with a major ATS (Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, or similar) and Google Workspace

  • Strong written and verbal communication; you will be a point of contact for both internal stakeholders and candidates

  • Demonstrated comfort with both coordination work and operational or project-based responsibilities

  • Ability to work on-site in our SF office 5 days per week

  • High attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and comfort with ambiguity

Nice to have:

  • Experience at a tech company or high-growth startup

  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Linear, Jira, or Asana

  • Prior informal team lead experience, such as serving as a senior resource or escalation point for a coordination team

  • Prior experience as an RC for executive recruiting, supporting senior or C-suite-level hiring

  • Direct candidate-facing experience, such as on-site hosting, candidate escorting, or serving as a primary candidate point of contact
