Credit risk insights you can’t get anywhere else
LendScore is a suite of credit risk scores designed to fit major lending segments. Every score factors in signals only Plaid can see, giving you a unique view of how risk changes over time.
Core
Our general-purpose credit risk model, built for lenders who need strong performance across a broad range of credit products and borrower populations.
Auto
Auto lenders serve a broad range of borrowers. See the difference between auto loan applicants who may look similar based on traditional credit data alone.
Home Lending
Mortgages and HELOCs require a longer-term view of financial stability. This model is built to assess credit risk across home lending decisions.
Short Term
With short repayment windows, recent financial behavior is key. This model is built for products like BNPL and cash advances, with a shorter performance window designed to better reflect short-term credit risk.
What sets LendScore apart
LendScore factors in signals only Plaid can see—like the apps borrowers are connected to—to show you how behavior changes in real time.
Get insights faster. Access returning borrower scores in under two seconds. New borrowers complete a quick, secure onboarding to share cash flow insights.
Get a granular view of applicants. With a 1,000–2,000 score range, you can see risk in finer detail.
Approve more borrowers without adding risk. Cash flow data helps you see thin or no-file borrowers traditional credit data can miss.
Built for today’s income. Flags signals like non-traditional earnings for a clearer read on borrower ability to repay.

How much can cash flow data improve my approval rate?
The impact of cash flow data on approval rates can vary. Our modeling found that LendScore can add up to 51% more approvals at a flat 3% delinquency rate.
How does this calculator work?
This calculator compares a credit decision for an applicant with traditional credit data alone versus with LendScore added. Set one rate (delinquency or approval) and the calculator will solve for the other.
Why do approval rate and delinquency rate move together on the calculator?
Approval and delinquency rates are related and move together. You can think of them same decision from two directions. LendScore separates risk more precisely, so you can hold one steady while improving the other.
Will these results hold for my portfolio?
These results are directional. Your results will depend on the type of applicants you serve. Reach out to our team to run a test comparing past credit decisions to LendScore results.
What's the difference between a 1400 and a 1700 score?
LendScore runs from 1000 to 2000. A higher score means we predict a lower risk of delinquency, and 300 points is a real difference in expected losses.
Why is the delinquency rate lower at the same approval rate?
LendScore sees what bureaus can't: real-time cash flow and Network Insights. That separates applicants a bureau score treats as identical.
