What are the requirements for selection?

The FinRise program is intended for BIPOC-founded technology startups. Applicants must be 18+, applying on behalf of a U.S.-based, BIPOC majority-owned business incorporated in the United States with 2+ employees

Those best suited for the program are post-seed pre-Series B technology startups with a product in Beta stage headquartered in the US. Selected participants must be available to join all program elements

How will Plaid select FinRise participants?

Participants that meet the criteria outlined above will be considered by a panel of Plaid leaders across the company. In order to ensure that Plaid can provide meaningful advice and mentorship, companies that leverage financial data in their product, service or operations, or show an interest in leveraging this technology in the future will be given preference

When will you announce the first cohort?

We will announce the first cohort in early March. The first program will run between April and December, 2021
