Learn how to sweep funds
For additional guides on how to use Transfer, see Using Transfer.
There is no API integration required to sweep funds to your business checking or treasury account. At the end of each business banking day, Plaid determines the net-sum of all transfers (debits minus credits) that settled the previous day (i.e., funds available in your Transfer account that have passed the 1 day hold) and, on your behalf, automatically sweeps the sum to your business checking or treasury account via an ACH credit.
For example, your account starts the day with $10,000. Throughout the day, you collect a total of $3,000 of debits from users and send out credits totaling $1,000. The next day (i.e., after your 1 day hold), Plaid will sweep $2,000 to your main treasury account, bringing your account total to $12,000.
Reach out to your Plaid point of contact to configure your business checking or treasury account to receive these sweeps.
