The Workplace Experience team's mission is to connect employees to the company and to other Plaids by creating exceptional spaces, events and programs. Our current Workplace Experience team is spread across multiple locations (San Francisco, New York, Salt Lake City, London, Amsterdam) and across multiple channels of Workplace: Operations and Services, Internal Events and Real Estate & Workplace Design.

Description of the role:

  • Represent & influence Plaid culture in the office by building relationships and assisting employees with their daily needs while in the office
  • Manage a high standard of ‘in-office experience’ for all Plaid employees
  • Oversee various facilities related projects from conception to completion
  • Manage multiple onsite vendors including but not limited to food & beverage, janitorial, movers, building management, etc. 
  • Assist with space planning efforts to optimize the office floor plan for the needs of Plaid
  • Providing coverage for the Front Desk Coordinator when they need to step away
  • Partner closely with HR, TechOps, legal, FP&A, EAs, and other Workplace Coordinators to ensure a positive in-office experience for Plaids and their guests
  • Assist the events & experiences team with coordination of in-office events
  • Ensure all team members and guests are complying with all company and CDC policies related to COVID-19
  • Reports directly to the Workplace Site Manager

What excites us:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a Facilities role or similar
  • Solid understanding of facilities operations and vendor management
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Outstanding organization, documentation, and attention to detail
  • Experienced technical literacy in G Suite, Slack, Jira, and Envoy
  • Experience managing ticketing systems & answering requests as they come through
  • You’re a self starter who can take even the smallest projects and run with it to successful completion
  • Strong appetite for learning
  • Serious about their craft and being best in class
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve while juggling responsibilities
  • Proven track record of being proactive and anticipating the needs of others
