Identity and Access Management is a critical part of the Security Engineering team. We are responsible for building infrastructures and services for Plaid employees to manage access to the critical information assets, auditing & analyzing data access. Our team aims to provide engineering solutions and access control experiences with our high bar for security. We believe in the zero trust security model and are always looking for ways to improve our access control platforms.
In this role, you will design, develop, and own systems and infrastructures to allow zero-trust service-to-service authentication and authorization. You will also design, develop, and own systems and services that manage data access, user groups, and permissions. You will build access control primitives that engineering teams across the company can use in their systems to improve their security posture. You will also provide security consult and help engineering teams to seamlessly manage (i.e., grant, revoke, audit, and analyze) their data access. Additionally, you will influence the company security policy, standards, and priorities with regards to IAM, and you will provide mentorship and guidance to level-up your teammates.
