The Recruiting Operations team drives and supports the entire surface area and backbone of Recruiting at Plaid, which includes data analytics, programs, processes and technologies that support our company’s goal to hire the best talent.

As a Recruiting Data Analyst, you'll build and own our data analytics with the goal of driving performance, capacity planning, and recruiting process effectiveness. You will link Plaid's business, recruiters and systems together to tell our recruiting story alongside the talent-leadership team using a data-driven approach. We are looking for a team member who can develop reports and surface insights that guide better hiring decisions, candidate experience, and overall recruiting outcomes.

You are a Recruiting Analytics expert, who thrives on building-out business-critical Talent Acquisition reports, dashboards, visualizations, data models, templates, and documentation. You enjoy influencing the business by creatively exploring & using data to inform our decisions by providing recommended business strategies for improving operational efficiency for a global team of recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators.

You will also lead projects with a Talent Analytics focus to build a foundation of capabilities for the TA Team that educate and empower them with advanced analytic methods and insights. For example, you are a person who loves to design and automate self-service dashboards to ensure our leadership has easy access to the right information when monitoring organizational health and making talent decisions.

What Excites You

  • Designing and building TA dashboards, visualizations, data models to support recruiting activities. Create routine reports and prepare analysis of recruiting trends for existing programs and new initiatives.
  • Drive gap analysis between current data set and ideal data state and provide recommendations and high level design suggestions.
  • Define, evaluate and report on key metrics for the recruitment organization on a global level.
  • Drive and partner with people analytics to build our recruiting data roadmap and analytics reporting framework.
  • Partner across all levels of recruiting leadership to provide data that will lead to more informed decision making. Work with recruiting managers to develop and maintain user dashboards that display real time and on-demand KPIs for the recruiting and sourcing teams.
  • Translate complex findings and data in a compelling and easy-to-understand narrative for the end user. Communicate analyses and recommendations to various cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Evaluate trends on process and measuring organizational effectiveness and make recommendations for further optimization. Make recommendations to improve existing data-collection methodologies.
  • Identify, analyze and forecast trends into meaningful visualizations and develop presentations for leadership as needed. Produce and present ad hoc, monthly and quarterly talent acquisition analysis reports to support business line data activity reporting needs.
  • Ensure high integrity and accuracy of recruiting data through audits and governance - consistently work and train all recruiting, sourcing and operations staff as well as recruiting leadership on best practices around data integrity aligned to reporting needs and functionality.
