The Financial Access organization expands and enriches connections between Plaid and financial institution partners to create a foundation for new and differentiated products that enable people to have healthier financial lives. This global team enables innovation by opening access to tools and technology that were previously reserved for technology upstarts.

Plaid is looking for a seasoned Technical Program Manager to play a critical role in ensuring the success of complex, cross-functional technical projects with external dependencies. This TPM will help the Financial Access organization manage the technical projects associated with Plaid’s increasingly collaboration with large financial institutions on the implementation, design and optimization of their APIs for fintech use cases. In this role, you will work closely with the teams implementing these bank APIs within Plaid, as well as the teams coordinating with financial institutions, in order to further our goals for consumer-driven finance.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Working cross-functionally with Plaid’s bank API implementation teams identify opportunities for efficiency and bringing those ideas to life
  • Acting as the ‘glue’ between engineering, product, partnerships, and business operations -- including shepherding technical projects, gathering requirements, develop and track project milestones
  • Manage communication of project status across the Financial Access organization, company leaders and other stakeholders
  • Helping to redefine Plaid’s data platform with a group of sharp, motivated and fun colleagues
