The TechOps team at Plaid is responsible for the various non-production services and systems that help employees work efficiently from anywhere in the world.

Systems/Processes like:
- Atlassian Jira/Confluence
- Okta
- Google Workspace
- Slack
- Dropbox
- Security and Legal compliance tooling
- Onboarding and Offboarding automation with HR systems
- VPN infrastructure
- Office network infrastructure for Security and AV/VC systems

Our mission is to keep employees unblocked at all times, whether they are having an issue with their local machine, or if they are onboarding a new vendor and want to set up automated provisioning of access.

We need a skilled IT engineer that has already spent years working at the customer service/support level, and years implementing solutions to help an IT team solve problems at a higher level.  You would handle all hiring, technically mentor new and existing folks on the team and help them create and drive their roadmap on a yearly basis.
While most of your time would not be spent working on tasks or support issues, you step in to help once in a while just to show the team you understand their challenges and will often dig in just to make sure you have all the context you need to best guide the team.

What excites us

  • Must have: 3-4 years of experience leading an IT team for a mid-sized company (500+)
  • Technical experience: Mac OSMDM (Jamf or other), Okta or other SSO solution
  • Nice to have: Networking experience, software engineering experience
