We believe that the way people interact with their finances will drastically improve in the next few years. We’re dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and experiences that thousands of developers use to create their own products. Plaid powers the tools millions of people rely on to live a healthier financial life. We work with thousands of companies like Venmo and SoFi, several of the Fortune 500, and many of the largest banks to make it easy for people to connect their financial accounts to the apps and services they want to use. Plaid’s network covers 11,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Salt Lake City, Washington D.C., London and Amsterdam.
Our ability to support new products, markets, and users rests on the quality of the internal platform, abstractions, and APIs that we build. The better common building blocks we create, the faster we enable other engineering teams to build and scale each product for our customers and our users.
We are looking for a backend engineer to join our Update Pipeline team, which powers data ingestion at Plaid. We build the services that initiate all data pulls at Plaid, including a job scheduler that updates millions of accounts daily. We also build the post-processing framework that allows our product teams to validate and enrich data before returning it to developers.
As a team that is focused on ensuring the freshness and quality of our data, the Update Pipeline is critical to Plaid's success. We need to prioritize reliability while enabling product velocity, and our systems need to be powerful enough to handle the next generation of Plaid products while presenting simple interfaces for product teams to use.
We're guided by our principles, including impact, growing together, embracing openness and positivity, and inventing tomorrow. We're looking for people motivated by those same principles.
