We’re dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and infrastructure developers need to create their own products. Plaid powers the tools millions of people rely on to live a healthier financial life. Plaid’s network covers 11,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Salt Lake City, Washington D.C., London and Amsterdam.
Risk Engineering is a highly cross-functional team dedicated to building the defenses, systems and user flows needed to mitigate financial losses, protect consumers, and ensure Plaid’s customers are compliant with regulatory and financial institution requirements.
The Onboarding Risk team is one of the engineering teams under Risk Engineering and is responsible for designing and building the E2E customer flow and risk/compliance management system that strike a balance between enabling a seamless onboarding experience for Plaid customers and mitigating risk to the overall business.

You will work closely with a talented cross-functional team including product, design and operational partners to design the optimal onboarding risk assessment flow for both Plaid and our customers.
