On the Link team we are building products to enable Plaid’s customers to quickly implement bank connectivity into their products. We aspire to make it easy for any developer to confidently support bank linking in their customer experiences, built on top of Plaid’s network of bank integrations.

The design team at Plaid is made up of product designers, design systems designers, brand designers, researchers, and content strategists who work with our cross-functional partners to create Plaid’s products.


What you will do

We’re looking for an experienced product designer to join our Link team. We pride ourselves on our product being the easiest way for people to connect their financial accounts to an app. Within the Link Team, you will play a critical role in helping users connect their account, working with cross-functional partners to improve the usability and UX quality of our core experience, in addition to pushing the craft to inform the next generation of our product. You’ll work closely with our design lead to drive the product strategy of Plaid’s flagship product.

  • Joining a team of experienced designers and contributing to our design culture through collaboration, presenting work, and sharing feedback

What excites us

  • 4+ years of experience in creating and shipping quality digital products.
  • Producing high-quality work across prototypes, pitch decks,  wireframes, user flows, and pixel perfect design with delightful interactions.
  • Strong verbal and visual presentation skills, as well as an articulate point of view about design
  • Proven record of collaboration to support and influence the team’s direction, vision, and planning of deliverables.
  • Ability to tie designs to business needs, goals, and metricsHaving a divergent exploratory process with the ability to communicate trade-offs

$130100 - 176000 a year

Target base salary for this role is between $130,100 - $176,000 per year. Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location. Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
