About Design at Plaid
The design team at Plaid is made up of product designers, design systems designers, brand designers, researchers, and content strategists who work with our cross-functional partners to create Plaid’s products.

What you will do
We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our Link Success team. We pride ourselves on our product being the easiest way for people to connect their financial accounts to an app. In this role, you will work with your cross-functional partners to solve our customers, consumer, and financial institutions’ needs, designing solutions that increase usability and performance of our core connection flow.

  • 2+ years of experience creating and shipping quality products
  • Solid understanding of how to create usable, accessible, and modular designs
  • You value well-crafted design and look at all aspects of design, visual, UI, and UX, to find the right solution
  • Producing high-quality work from wireframes and user flows to pixel perfect design with delightful interactions
  • A penchant for utilizing user insights and metrics to guide design decisions
  • Being a tireless advocate for the users and user-centered processes
  • Deep understanding and consideration of business needs, goals, and metrics
  • Having a divergent exploratory process with the ability to communicate trade-offs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and contribute ideas across the entire product development process
  • Relevant experience in the Financial Technology industry or with Financial Identity related products is a plus
