We believe that the way people interact with their finances will drastically improve in the next few years. We’re dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and experiences that thousands of developers use to create their own products. Plaid powers the tools millions of people rely on to live a healthier financial life. We work with thousands of companies like Venmo and SoFi, several of the Fortune 500, and many of the largest banks to make it easy for people to connect their financial accounts to the apps and services they want to use. Plaid’s network covers 11,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Salt Lake City, Washington D.C., London and Amsterdam.
About our team
The design team at Plaid is made up of product designers, design systems designers, brand designers, researchers, and content strategists who work with our cross-functional partners to create Plaid’s products.
On the Transfers & Payments team, we are building products to enable Plaid’s customers to quickly implement bank payment solutions into their products. We aspire to make it easy for any developer to confidently support bank payments in their customer experiences, built on top of Plaid’s network of bank integrations.
What you will do
We’re looking for a Product Designer to join the growing Transfers & Payments team as its second product designer. This is a new products team, so your first few projects will involve conducting research to explore and define solutions that enhance Plaid’s offerings in the payments space. After collaborating with the Product Managers and Engineers on the team, you’ll work to prototype and design products across the Transfers & Payments value chain. The potential projects include enhancing our consumer payments offerings, shipping new developer and operations tools on the dashboard, and building new consumer payment management offerings. You’ll work closely with our design lead to drive the product strategy and grow as a product designer at Plaid.
