Our New Product GTM team at Plaid combines deep product and industry knowledge and is focused on bringing Plaid to an ever-broadening set of businesses. Our thesis is that every company in financial services can benefit from better financial technology, and that many industries that don't currently consider themselves to be fintech actually are.

You'll be the individual helping us achieve this vision and accelerate the growth of specialized products in the market. Your focus will vary depending on the stage of the product development lifecycle - you’ll be leading product pilots with early customers, ensuring our product roadmap is aligned with customer needs, and be specializing across the revenue team to accelerate the growth of a specified product to market. You will work closely with Sales and Account Management to identify and close deals across verticals in financial services, utilities, billing, insurance, and more.

What Excites You

  • Work with Plaid's most strategic customers from all over the financial industry to build out applications and / or platforms across a variety of different verticals and use cases including (but not limited to), lending, wealth management, financial management, account opening, student loan refinancing, fraud detection, etc. 
  • Scale and enable a sales process across many different customer types and sellers 
  • Partner with Account Executives, Account Managers and Sales Engineers to hit revenue goals.
  • Work cross-functionally to improve the client onboarding experience as they build with Plaid, collecting and translating customer and partner feedback into meaningful product insights for our Product and Engineering teams

What Excites Us

  • 5 years of sales experience in a new-revenue or sales specialist role (quota carrying) and a strong track record of closing deals 
  • Experience building a targeted sales plan to hit revenue goals across existing and new customers
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across a variety of internal stakeholders.
  • Excitement to work in a high-growth environment and to help build processes and scale product growth across the revenue team.
